Disastrous effects of pesticides and fertilizers on organic life system

1
The effect of prolonged and over use of chemicals on soil results in human health hazards and pollutes the environment.
2
The two main problems of agricultural chemicals are toxicity and residues.
3
The infant disease methemoglobinemia is caused by the accumulation of excess nitrates in plants.
4
Amines produced from nitrogenous fertilizers cause cancer in humans.
5
Pesticide and herbicide residues affect the central nervous system, respiratory and gastro-intestinal system and also cause depression, insomnia, oral automatism, myoclonus and hyper-reflexia.
6
Ground water resource which is a major source of drinking-water becomes polluted by chemicals.
7
Ecosystem is disturbed by these chemicals, which result in the alteration on non-target organisms and exerts influence on soil microorganisms.
8
A lot of chlorine is accumulated because of extensive use of chlorine holding fertilizers. A great amount of chlorine accumulation hurts the physical and chemical properties of the soil, which will bring down the nitrification rate, mineralization of soil organic matter and restricts plant growth by increasing osmotic pressure. This will make the plants suffer from water deficiency.
9
The global climate will change due to the increase in the emission of Green house gases like carbon dioxide, methane, CFCs, nitrous oxide. This can result in harming world economy, global security and natural environment.
